Jenna Ball

Studio 7A

Jenna is a Columbia-based mixed-media artist who uses sewing, crocheting, oil pastels, and jewelry-making to explore feelings of grief, joy, sexuality, and love. Through threading and reworking old fabrics, she gives new life to what has been cast aside, challenging patterns of overconsumption while celebrating a slower, more mindful way of creating.

Jenna also works as a wilderness guide for at-risk youth in the Blue Ridge Mountains, drawing inspiration from the outdoors and the gentle healing energy of nature, which invites us to slow down, reflect, and sit with difficult emotions. She continues to develop new work that examines the relationship between the feminine body and somatic healing on her ever‐changing journey of self‐expression.
