Space Use Policy and Pricing
Guidelines for Use of Space as of February 1, 2026
Exhibitions, Educational Programming, and Events
Purpose
These guidelines exist to protect the integrity, safety, and sustainability of the Gemini Arts space while supporting artistic, cultural, and community-centered activity. As a developing organization, Gemini Arts is actively refining its policies and appreciates cooperation and shared responsibility from all users of the space.
What Gemini Arts Is
An art venue dedicated to exhibitions, programs, and events that support emerging and established artists.
A newly designed and constructed building that must be maintained to professional gallery standards.
A community-oriented, family-friendly space that welcomes audiences of all ages, including children.
A space committed to being safe, inclusive, and respectful for artists, participants, and visitors.
An evolving organization that is still developing policies and procedures.
A tenant of a privately owned building and subject to restrictions set by the property owner regarding permitted activities.
A cultural resource intended to promote a wide range of artists, not only well-known or commercially established ones.
What Gemini Arts Is Not
A bar nor nightclub. The space is not equipped with bartenders, security staff, or furnishings suitable for alcohol-heavy or high-risk environments.
A dedicated party nor event hall. Activities whose primary purpose is social partying rather than artistic or cultural engagement are not aligned with the mission of the space.
A venue with a fixed or established atmosphere. All uses of the space contribute to shaping how Gemini Arts is perceived by the community.
Part of a commercial entertainment district with built-in support from nearby nightlife or hospitality businesses.
An unrestricted, low-cost venue available for any purpose
Use Constraints and Expectations
To protect Gemini Arts’ role as an art-centered, family-friendly space:
All activities must align with the mission and values of Gemini Arts.
Alcohol service, if permitted, must be limited (e.g., wine and beer only) and explicitly approved in advance.
BYOB events are discouraged and may require special approval.
Events must be appropriate for a mixed-age audience unless otherwise approved.
All users are responsible for respecting the space, artwork, furnishings, and surrounding community.
Shared Responsibility
Artists, organizers, renters, and collaborators share responsibility for maintaining a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. Use of the space should reflect care for the building, the artwork, and the broader community Gemini Arts serves.
