ECO Printing

Participants will learn about ECO printing with plants on fabric. Natural pigments and organic shapes will be achieved through the process. Instructor will demonstrate the process and participants will create two ECO printed fabric samples to take home. Fabric will be pre-treated and ready for participants. The pre-treating process will be discussed and explained.

Tabitha received her MFA in Jewelry & Metals from Kent State University and her BFA in Sculpture with a concentration in Jewelry & Metals from Winthrop University. For eight years, Tabitha served as a faculty member at Claflin University, and from 2020 to 2022, she was the Interim Chair of the Department of Art there. Tabitha currently serves as the Executive Director at 701 Center for Contemporary Art and as a consultant for ArtFields Jr.
